Everything Changes

This post by @ej_loh1000010 perfectly surmises on what—I feel—is the ultimate truth.

I’ve thought this forever… so many things I grew up thinking were true are, in fact, very, very wrong. You may have noticed from some of my stories, but I didn’t exactly experience normalcy. Perhaps that’s why I seek to share such excitement with you.

Contrapostively, many things I assumed were false were 100% true. I actually thought the world was worse than it is. Perhaps the next issue I will talk about how I uprooted a lot of the assumptions to change my life.

I assume this is where the expression “you’ll understand when you get older” means, but it was mostly used to tell me dictate how I should act, so I never really internalized that one.
