Light in the Darkness

Or how I went on a philosophical rant

Difficult times propel us into feeling the world is terrible.

We live in a strange era that includes unprecedented polarity alongside massive technological progress. We exist in a state between the future and what many assumed was the far past.

It's hard to feel that, in many ways, the world is actually better than it has been—with reduced poverty, improved health, increased education, and countless technological advancements—because it often feels so low. If we're struggling to survive and, like, afford groceries, it doesn't matter much to us that people live longer on average.

Try not to get lost in the sauce. There is always hope, even in the darkest of times.

Best,

Lucas
